Australia
Now say goodbye to 5.5 IELTS scores as Australia has revised the IELTS scores to 6.0 for student visas and 6.5 for Temporary Graduate visas. Besides, prepare yourself for a new “Genuine Student” test as well as all international students will have to show more savings in the bank (currently $24,505).
UK
The UK government wants to have fewer students in the country, so dependents of students have been barred (except for postgraduate students) from entering the UK and switching visas mid-study will also no longer be allowed for international students. The two-year post-study work visa is under review and the visa fee has been increased by £127. Accordingly, the revised student visa application fee for Indian students is now INR 51,787.
Canada
Canada will strictly verify each letter of acceptance submitted by international students and the post-study work permit programme will undergo new amendments. The minimum living cost has been doubled to 20,635 Canadian dollars for international students studying in Canada.
France
France – one of Europe’s most developed nations breaks good news for international students! Master’s students pursuing their courses in France will now get a five-year post-study work visa. What’s more, one semester in France will now offer international students a five-year Schengen job exploration visa.
Ireland
Ireland also announces new perks for international students planning to study there. The country has announced two years post-study work visa for students pursuing bachelor’s/master’s programmes and three years work visa for students pursuing PhDs.
Italy

New Zealand

The island nation now accepts international students’ One Skill Retake option thus paving the way for a flexible English language proficiency assessment process. International students will now need to be more cautious with their passports! They are advised to input the correct information while scheduling their appointment for F, M, or J student visa.
