The UK leads with 6 universities in the list of global top 50 universities. The University of Oxford is ranked on top (3rd globally), with high marks for employer and academic reputation. Other prestigious European universities include Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin (Germany, 55th), University of Amsterdam (Netherlands, 9th), Universitat de Barcelona (Spain, 64th) and KU Leuven (Belgium, 18th).
Asia
Singapore is ranked on top with the 2 Asian universities: National University of Singapore (1st in Asia, 21st globally) and Nanyang Technological University (2nd in Asia, 32nd globally). Peking University (China, 49th) is the only Asian university in the global list of top 50 universities. The University of Hong Kong (36th globally) leads in South Korea, Japan and Hong Kong.
Australia & New Zealand
The University of Melbourne (Australia, 19th globally) leads in Asia, followed by The University of Auckland (New Zealand, 62nd).
